The Festival of Words is funded in part by a grant from the South Arts in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts. It is also supported by a Grant from the Louisiana Division of the Arts, Office of Cultural Development, Department of Culture, Recreation and Tourism, in cooperation with the Louisiana State Arts Council as administered by the Acadiana Center for the Arts. Additional support comes from the Grand Coteau Cultural Foundation, the Consulate General of France in New Orleans and also from many generous donors of our community and from all over the country.
The Festival of Words appreciates the partnerships with Nunu's Arts and Culture Collective, The Thensted Center, Project S.O.U.N.D., The South St. Landry Community Library, the Friends of the Library, and St. Charles Church.
We also appreciate in-kind support from The Center for Louisiana Studies at UL, Williams Creative Group and C. Bruce Snow, Data Management.
