The Gathering Discussion Group: Saying goodbye to Rev. Julien It was fun having new folks join the discussion group. Rev. Julien led the group. The November topic was centered around our monthly theme of Mission and vision. This was Julien's last time at leading the group. She is moving to Mexico. It has been a great joy having her among us. Although she will be sorely missed, we wish her happiness on her new adventure. |

THE
INN MINISTRY We could use coats, jackets, sweaters, warm pants, socks and blankets for the folks at the Inn, as winter is approaching. Folks continue to need food, including protein, such as canned meats, beans and fish, all with pull tops. For the folks not on the road, but struggling to feed their families, hotdogs and sliced meats are good. Instant grits and oatmeal, quick-cooking rice, ramen noodles, and boxes of mac&cheese work well for those with microwaves. Fresh produce is a blessing - fruit and veggies. Janet and Jim wash broccoli, carrots, whatever they get, and bag them. |
