For Students and Tutors --  worksheets, lessons, and activites to use with a tutor.

www.education.com — great worksheets for phonics, math from basic math to algebra, activities and games .pdf worksheets and answer keys.  Is leveled by K-12 grades, but the pages are not “kiddish”

www.math-drills.com — wide variety of math worksheets in .pdf format with answer keys.  Just like the name says, you can drill all your math skills here.

http://literacyconnections.com/adultliteracyresources.php — books to purchase, organizations, links, literacy blog, vocabulary, spelling, reading, etc.

http://www.thirteen.org/edonline/adulted/lessons.html —lesson plans suited for the classroom but can be adapted to tutoring sessions.  Each lesson has level, subject matter, and a title for easy sorting.

http://www.theteacherscorner.net/lesson-plans/reading/activities — check out the menu on the right for printable worksheets.  There are many ads on this page; however, I did find one that you may be interested in “Free Story of the Week” from www.loa.org or Library of America.  They will send you a story a week by email.  The one I received was by Edith Wharton, good stuff!

http://www.skillsworkshop.org/other.htm  — Printable resources for adult basic skills.  Make sure to check out the sites with American flags, or you may be spelling humor as the British do “humour”. ☺

http://Honolulu.hawaii.edu/intranet/committees/FacDevCom/guidebk/teachtip/teachtip/htm —too much on this website to mention but great for a tutor who wants support, websites, dealing with stress, activities, games, etc.

http://www.instructorweb.com/resources/phonics.asp — phonics worksheet links
